Parc National de la Jacques Cartier is a vast conservation park filled with mountainous plateaus, rivers, and lakes covering 260 square miles and located only about 30 minutes from downtown Quebec City.
In early to late October, the fall colors pop out of the mountainous landscape in an array of beautiful colors of red, yellow, orange, and green.
Several natural hiking trails are located in the park where you’ll cover miles of birch trees, sugar maples, black spruce trees as well as several others.

There is a large variety of activities you can do in the park such as camping, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, hiking, mountain biking or simply taking a leisurely drive through the beautiful scenery the park has to offer.
This scene is located just at the visitor’s center where you can plan out a hike, grab a bite to eat, or rent some of the various outdoor equipment.
In the winter time, the park becomes a magical wonderland filled with vast amounts of snow.
