Spooky Flume Gorge Algae Fern Wall
Algae and fern plants grow from the trickling water on the side of the spooky walls at Flume Gorge, NH.
Bright green ferns and algae grow wild from the water trickling down the side of the spooky walls of Flume Gorge, New Hampshire.
In the afternoon as the sun goes down, the rays of sunlight barely make it into the gorge and cause shadows to cast the tall faces of rock in a different light.
There’s a slightly cool breeze and the sounds of rushing water just below create an eerie setting that would be perfect for a creepy movie.

In the summer here, life is everywhere as can be seen from all of the green algae growth and other plants clinging to the sides of the crevice.
