Daytona Beach Footprints in the Sand

In the early morning, footprints in the sand just left by passing surfers trail along the water’s edge in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The ocean is particularly rough today since there is a hurricane churning the water just off the coast of Florida. During most mornings, the sand is normally packed fairly hard from the tide going out.

You can always tell there’s life on the beach when you see the trail of footprints. The only thing is that just as life comes and goes, so do the impressions left in the sand get washed away by the ocean.
