There is a park very close to this spot where people park and walk down to the beach. One of the main attractions about Daytona Beach is that you can actually drive on it instead of carrying your beach gear over a distance.
Just a ways farther probably about a mile from this spot is the Main St. Pier which is a popular spot for tourists, fishermen, and people just wanting to grab a bite to eat while experiencing the tropical views over the ocean.
