Digital SLR cameras have come a long way and although aren’t cheap, they provide exceptional picture quality and can be had for a bargain.  While the body alone can’t make the picture, the combination of an even modest SLR digital camera with an excellent lens can provide better of a photo than the most expensive, highest megapixel point and shoot camera.
